BEAVER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, Jan. 22, 2024 – Beaver County is advancing its Broadband Program to bring high-speed Internet to County residents without access to service. The program’s 2021 Broadband Data Collection & Feasibility Study identified 24 municipalities within the County that lacked complete access to high-speed, reliable Internet under the federal minimum as defined by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The County selected Verizon to deploy high-speed fiber-optic broadband service by the end of 2026 to hundreds of eligible Beaver County locations.
